Advance Ticket Sales

Check out the Auto Show Website (charlotteautoshow.com) for updated information about the 2012 Charlotte International Auto Show.  AGAIN THIS YEAR – advance ticket sales are available on the website.  Save $2.00 by buying your tickets on line. You may also print off the $2.00 discount coupon and buy your tickets at the door. 

 

New displays at this year’s Auto Show

New and exciting displays have been added to the exciting new car line up at this year’s Auto Show.  The History of the Automobile will display vintage automobiles from 1910 up to present day.  Come walk through history and see ther /> changes in body styles through the years.

 

Also, Duke Energy will be bringing the 2010 Tesla Electric Roadster, the 1918 Detroit Electric, 2011 Nissan Leaf and Piedmont Natural Gas will have 2 natural gas powered vehicles on display.

 

FAMILY DAY – Sunday, November 18th

Families are welcome every day at the Auto Show but Sunday has always been a special Family Day.  This year is no different. 

Area mascots will be at the Auto show again this year along with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus to talk with all the boys and girls.

 

Entertainment – in the all new Family Entertainment Zone, will include live music, face painting and clowns.  Children 12 and under will receive a ticket for an hourly drawing for a family four-pack of movie entertainment – tickets and concessions – valued at more than $50. Inside the Family Entertainment Zone attendees can purchase a $3.00 stamp to enjoy activities such as a NASCAR simulator, a 12-passenger simulator, a climbing wall and more.

 

Kids 12 and under are always admitted free to the Auto Show with a paying adult.  Sunday really is a fun family day at the Charlotte Auto Show!!

 

Free ‘Buyers Guide’

How do you compare automobiles on the market?  Where do you shop?  What are the cars of the future?  All attendees of the Charlotte International Auto Show will receive a free ‘Buyers Guide’ containing over 100 pages of great automobile information about what’s new, what’s hot and what’s coming in the future.  Get your copy as you enter the Show.

 

Panthers Players to sign Autographs

The Carolina Panthers – Greg Olsen and Jon Beason – will be at the Auto Show on Saturday to sign autographs in the GMC booth at the Charlotte International Auto Show.  Greg Olsen will be there from 2-3 on Saturday and Jon Beason will be there from 5-6 on Saturday.  Come check out the GMC exhibit and get your autograph.

 

Play BINGO to win!!

This year Auto Show attendees can play BINGO by visiting all the exhibits and enter to win an iPad.  Just pick up your entry card at the Show entrance, visit every exhibit and mark it as you go, fill in the pertinent information and you may be a lucky daily winner!  The Auto Show is giving away one iPad per day.

 

FREE Lunch

The Charlotte International Auto Show will provide a complimentary lunch for everyone purchasing a ticket at the Auto Show between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, November 15th and 16th.  Every paid admission will receive a ticket stub for a hot dog and drink from either of the two concession stands open in exhibit halls A and B.  Lunchtime visitors who plan to re-enter the show after work may have their hand stamped when they exit the show.

 

Bring your camera to the Show

Bring your camera.  Photography is allowed and what great opportunities there are for terrific pictures.  You’ll experience exotic displays, turntable exhibits, concept cars and all the allure of a major Auto Show.

 

On Saturday and Sunday your children may have their picture made with Santa and on Sunday area mascots will be available as well for photo opportunities.
