CHARLOTTE INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW "PREVIEW NIGHT" TO BENEFIT LOCAL Y’s
November 18th - 6:30pm-9:00pm
The Charlotte International Auto Show kicks off this year with a Preview Night benefiting all area YMCA’s. This annual preview night event will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Charlotte Convention Center beginning at 6:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the 2016 models with style and excitement while benefiting a great local charity. Buy tickets NOW for Preview Night using this link. RIDE AND DRIVES THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
The Charlotte International Auto Show is offering Ride & Drive opportunities this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This program will allow consumers to get behind the wheel of various models and take these cars and crossovers for a spin. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, produce a valid driver's license, provide follow-up information, sign a waiver of liability and pass a Breathalyzer test to participate in the program. All participants will be accompanied by an in-vehicle host who helps answer product related questions and assists in demonstrating the many features and benefits of these technologically advanced vehicles. **GM is only Friday thru Sunday

ALLY AUTO ALLEY
Do you know what the greatest design of a new car or truck looks like? If you do, make sure you stop by the Ally Auto Alley to build the best urban art car at this year's Auto Show. Ally will have their high-tech interactive display available for any attendee to build your dream car. And if you build the best design of the show, (determined by Ally judges) you may win an all-inclusive trip for two to the Hard Rock Hotel Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Look for the Ally Auto Alley near the History of the Automobile display.
B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe) is a non-profit organization founded by Doug Herbert after both of his sons were killed in an auto accident. BREAKS' mission is to prevent injuries and save lives by training and education teenage drivers and their parents about the importance of safe driving. Doug is an NHRA driver when he is not traveling the country promoting BERAKS. Doug, and his dragster, will be at the Auto Show by the Kia booth, his national sponsor.
HISTORY OF THE AUTOMOBILE
Back by popular demand will be our History of the Automobile display. It is like taking a walk back in time and brings back a lot of memories for a lot of folks. And throughout the show there will be a few special "then and now" displays with the classic models beside the 2016 model of the of the same car.
FAMILY DAY SET FOR NOVEMBER 22
Families are welcome every day at the Auto Show, but Sunday is SPECIAL. Area mascots - including Charlotte Hornets' Hugo, Charlotte Checkers' Chubby and Charlotte Knights' Homer will all be at the Show on Sunday. Again this year Santa Claus will visit with children. Entertainment will include live music, face painting and clowns. Children 12 and under will receive a ticket for an hourly drawing for a family four pack of movie entertainment - tickets and concessions - valued at over $50.00. All of this for the price of admission; children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. Sunday really is a fun family day at the Auto Show.

FREE LUNCH - Thursday and Friday
The Charlotte International Auto Show will provide a complimentary lunch for every paying visitor between the hours of 12 Noon and 2PM on Thursday and Friday, November 19th and 20th, 2015. Every paid admission will receive a ticket stub good for a hot dog and drink from either of the two concession stands open in exhibit halls A & B. Visitors may have their hand stamped so they may re-enter the Show after work.

BRING YOUR CAMERA TO THE AUTO SHOW
Bring your camera to the Show. Photography is allowed and what great opportunities there are for terrific pictures. You'll experience beautiful displays, turntable exhibits and all the allure of a major Auto Show. On Saturday and Sunday your children may have their picture taken with Santa Claus and on Sunday all area mascots will be available as well for photo opportunities.
