CHARLOTTE INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW "PREVIEW NIGHT" TO BENEFIT LOCAL Y’s
November 20th - 6:30pm-9:00pm
The Charlotte International Auto Show kicks off this year with a Preview Night benefiting all area YMCA’s. This annual preview night event will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Charlotte Convention Center beginning at 6:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the 2014 models with style and excitement while benefiting a great local charity. Buy tickets NOW for Preview Night using this link. RIDE AND DRIVE
The Charlotte International Auto Show is offering Ride & Drive opportunities this year. This program will allow consumers to get behind the wheel of various models and take these cars and crossovers for a spin. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, produce a valid driver's license, provide follow-up information, sign a waiver of liability and pass a Breathalyzer test to participate in the program. All participants will be accompanied by an in-vehicle host who helps answer product related questions and assists in demonstrating the many features and benefits of these technologically advanced vehicles.

Friday 12noon -5pm
Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm
FRIDAY NIGHT 4pm - 7:30pm
The Carolina Panthers Cheerleaders, Sir Purr, DeAngelo Williams and Luke Kuechly will be on the show floor to sign autographs, pose for photos and interact with fans of all ages!
FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT ZONE
Back again this year is the Family Entertainment Zone. There will be activities for children of all ages including a climbing wall, a 12-passenger motion simulator, a virtual NASCAR simulator and a small inflatable for the little children. And of course Santa Claus will be back again this year. So bring the kids, look at all the cars and take a break for some fun.
HISTORY OF THE AUTOMOBILE
Back by popular demand will be our History of the Automobile display. It is like taking a walk back in time and brings back a lot of memories for a lot of folks. And throughout the show there will be a few special "then and now" displays with the classic models beside the 2014 model of the of the same car.
PLAY AUTOMOTIVE TRIVIA TO WIN IPAD
When entering the Auto Show, attendees will be able to pick up a one sheet Automotive Trivia game to play to win an IPAD($500 Best Buy Gift Card). Ten questions will test your knowledge of cars - new and old. A daily winner will be drawn from all the games that have all 10 answers - and the bonus question - correct. Answer the questions, fill in your contact information and drop the entry in the box on the way out of the show. Winners will be notified after the close of the show.
US NAVY SEAL ADAM BROWN'S "FEARLESS" BRONCO ON DISPLAY
RK Motors Charlotte (RKMC) and RK Motors Performance Center (RKMPC) spearheaded a project to restore and customize a 1991 Ford Bronco in honor of fallen hero, US Navy SEAL Adam Brown. Chief Brown was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010. Chronicled in Eric Blehm's book "FEARLESS", Brown died protecting his unit. His actions saved the lives of several of his men. His survived by his wife and two children. The truck was part of a "Give Forward" campaign which raised over $65,000, while RKMC and other high-profile sponsors provided parts, services and funds for "Project Fearless." The Bronco was recently unveiled to Chief Brown's family. This Bronco will be on display at the Auto Show where you can learn the story behind this fallen hero and what h overcame in his life to be "fearless."
FAMILY DAY SET FOR NOVEMBER 24
Families are welcome every day at the Auto Show, but Sunday is SPECIAL. Area mascots - including Charlotte Bobcats' Rufus, Charlotte Checkers' Chubby and Charlotte Knights' Homer will all be at the Show on Sunday. Again this year Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will visit with children. Entertainment will include live music, face painting and clowns. Children 12 and under will receive a ticket for an hourly drawing for a family four pack of movie entertainment - tickets and concessions - valued at over $50.00. All of this for the price of admission; children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. Sunday really is a fun family day at the Auto Show.

FREE LUNCH - Thursday and Friday
The Charlotte International Auto Show will provide a complimentary lunch for every paying visitor between the hours of 12 Noon and 2PM on Thursday and Friday, November 21st and 22nd, 2013. Every paid admission will receive a ticket stub good for a hot dog and drink from either of the two concession stands open in exhibit halls A & B. Visitors may have their hand stamped so they may re-enter the Show after work.

BRING YOUR CAMERA TO THE AUTO SHOW
Bring your camera to the Show. Photography is allowed and what great opportunities there are for terrific pictures. You'll experience beautiful displays, turntable exhibits and all the allure of a major Auto Show. On Saturday and Sunday your children may have their picture taken with Santa Claus and on Sunday all area mascots will be available as well for photo opportunities.
