Where is the Charlotte Convention Center located?

What are the directions to the Convention Center?

From I-85
Driving South from points North of Charlotte.

  • Take I-85 to I-77
  • Stay on I-77 south and take Exit 9B(John Belk Freeway)
  • Take the 2nd exit -1E(College Street).
  • The Charlotte Convention Center will be on the right at the first traffic light.

Driving North from points South of Charlotte.

  • Take Little Rock Road, Exit 32.
  • Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Turn right at the first traffic light.
  • Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Wilkinson Boulevard (Hwy 74 East).
  • Follow Wilkinson Boulevard as it becomes the I-277 loop (John Belk Freeway).
  • Take College Street, Exit 1E.
  • The Charlotte Convention Center will be on your right after you cross Stonewall Street.

There are two entrances to the Charlotte Convention Center, one is located on College Street, and a second on East Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd. The NASCAR Hall of Fame parking deck, located on South Brevard Street is also connected to the Charlotte Convention Center via a convenient over-street walkway.

From US Highway 74 (Wilkinson Boulevard on the West and Independence Boulevard on the East)

Driving East from points West of Charlotte.

    • Follow Wilkinson Boulevard (Hwy 74 East) as it becomes the I-277 loop (John Belk Freeway).
    • Take College Street, Exit 1E.
    • The Charlotte Convention Center will be on your right after you cross Stonewall Street.

Driving West from points East of Charlotte.

        • Follow Independence Boulevard (Hwy 74 West) and merge left onto the I-277 loop (John Belk Freeway).
        • Take Stonewall Street, Exit 1E.
        • Turn left onto Stonewall Street and proceed 3 blocks.
        • The Charlotte Convention Center will be on your right after you cross Brevard Street.

What are the hours of the Auto Show for 2013?
  • Thursday and Friday: 12:00 Noon – 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are not yet available for the 2013 show.

How much are the tickets?
  • $10.00 (Adult – Ages 13 and up)
  • FREE (Children 12 and under)
May I use my credit or debit card to purchase tickets at the door?

Yes.

Are cameras and video cameras permitted on the Show floor?

Yes.

Is there a lost and found office?

Yes, all lost and found items are brought to the Show Office or to Convention Center Security. After the close of the show, please contact the Convention Center.

Is there a place to eat?

The Convention Center has food available and there are restaurants in the area. You can have your hand stamped to get back into the Show.

Is the Auto Show open to the General Public?

Yes.

Is there a group rate?

Yes, discount tickets are available for educational and non-profit groups. Please contact the Show Office the week of the show.

Do you have wheelchairs available on the Show site?

Yes, wheelchairs are available at the Show Office.

Are strollers allowed on the Show floor?

Yes.
