AMERICANS WELL-INFORMED ON AUTOMOBILE RETAILING ECONOMICS
A group of auto dealers and vehicle lenders has launched a website – www.autofinancing101.org – designed to inform consumers about dealership finance and insurance practices. It is the first major project of Americans Well-informed on Automobile Retailing Economics (AWARE). The site advises consumers to know their credit scores when they shop for a vehicle. It urges them to set a realistic price range that fits their budget before they visit a dealership. It also encourages buyers to compare loan interest rates and financing terms from several sources. The website is available in English and Spanish. Click on the link above to access the AWARE website.
