CHARLOTTE INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW PREVIEW NIGHT TO
 BENEFIT LEVINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Cars, Jazz, Refreshments, Hors d’oeuvres and Excitement awaits attendees
November 16

August 1, 2011 – Charlotte, N.C.

The Charlotte International Auto Show kicks off this year with a Preview Night benefiting Levine Children’s Hospital. This annual preview night event will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Charlotte Convention Center beginning at 6:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the 2012 models with style and excitement while benefiting a great local charity. Preview Night guests will be provided free parking at the NASCAR Hall of Fame parking deck.

The Charlotte International Auto Show has joined hands with Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH), which was recently named one of the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News and World Report. LCH is the most comprehensive facility of its type between Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC – meaning most children no longer need to travel outside of the region to receive the care they need.

The Charlotte International Auto Show Preview Night is designed to provide an exciting new social event for Charlotte area car enthusiasts. Over 400 new vehicles including the new electrics – the Chevrolet Volt and the Nissan Leaf - will be highlighted. A special feature will be a HISTORY OF THE AUTOMOBILE EXHIBIT presenting 25 vintage automobiles from the past.

“We’re very excited about this partnership between Levine Children’s Hospital and the Charlotte International Auto Show as it will provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere to view the 2012 models for the first time in our market while supporting a remarkable charity,” said GCADA Director Loretta Allman. “We look at this Preview Night Partnership with expectation that this will be an annual partnership and yet another opportunity for the Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers to give back to our community.”

Preview Night attendees will be treated to a first look at the 2012 models coming to show rooms including the intriguing new electric vehicles. There will be music provided, a variety of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments and a chance to rub elbows and visit with all the area car enthusiasts while supporting Levine Children’s Hospital. Several patient and family “ambassadors” will also attend preview night to demonstrate their support and gratitude to the community.

Preview Night tickets are $50 and can be purchased on-line at the www.charlotteautoshow.com website. For more information call 704-364-1078.
