Association

The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association was founded in 1963 by a group of 15 Charlotte auto dealers.

Today the Association is 100 members strong with dealers in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.

Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association dealers employ more than 8,000 people and support their community through charitable involvement. The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association supports a number of charitable endeavors including the D.A.R.E. Program, the Police Athletic League, Boy Scouts, Do The Right Thing, the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and the Charlotte Observer Charities.

Our mission is to promote the automobile industry; to disseminate information to our members and consumers; to promote the welfare of the automobile industry; to continue to improve the public perception of the industry; to establish and conduct educational training programs for the benefit of member dealer employees; and to sponsor and produce the Charlotte International Auto Show to exhibit new and innovative automotive products to the public.
